I have only used it one time and it worked well on my Chrysler Crossfire (Mercedes)which is designed to do the oil changes from above with the filter on top of the engine. If I had to jack up the car I would never attempt to do my own oil changes. Oil changes for Crossfires cost between $120 to $150 at the dealer.
This extractor will pay for itself and more at two oil changes. The filters on these cars are not just screw on. You must change several O rings and make sure the filter is properly inserted in its housing. It can be tricky and I prefer to do it myself as opposed to leaving it to the lowest skilled employees at the dealer who are often assigned do oil changes. Said By William M. I’d run out of filters some time back and kept meaning to pick up more. I’d decided to look on Amazon and found a price of $40.50 for a 10-pack, which was less than in the local stores I’d checked. A couple days passed before I actually went to place an order and was delighted to find the price for the 10-pack had been reduced to around $35.00. I couldn’t argue with that! This is an excellent product, easy to use and priced extremely reasonably. Excellent built-in safety features. If you’ve never used a chain saw before (I hadn’t) you may be a little frightened by the rather extensive cautions given in the instruction booklet, but they amount basically to keeping a firm grip on the saw when using it.
It may be worthwhile to start out for a few minutes together with someone who has used a chain saw before. You need to separately purchase chain-saw oil for using it. I have over 30 very lark Oak trees and a hand full of pines on my 1 acre lot and when the leafs come down, not only do I get all of mine but all of the surrounding trees too. I didn’t want to spend a couple of thousand on a mulcher to pull behind my tractor, beides there are some areas I can’t get into. Great product well made easy to set up and break down .on the down side it is a little bulky to move from job to job every day but we manage to do it .Material support arms could be a little stronger. I’ve had this unit for about a week and couldn’t be more pleased. Assembly was quick and it is a very solid product; as expected, my Bosch saw fit perfectly.
