I just got this hatchet in the mail today and have been chopping large kindling with it all day and I’m extremely impressed. I can only say good things about it. First off the handle is unbreakable, it can even stand being run over by a truck! And the blade of the hatchet is very sharp and the steel is quite nice.
I’m also planning on buying the 17-Inch Splitting Hatchet because I’m very satisfied with their line of axes/hatchets!
This is the one to get, sharp, light weight, and comfortable. It is much better than the 8 inch one I purchased for backpacking, and hardly weighs more.
