I have only used it one time and it worked well on my Chrysler Crossfire (Mercedes)which is designed to do the oil changes from above with the filter on top of the engine. If I had to jack up the car I would never attempt to do my own oil changes. Oil changes for Crossfires cost between $120 to $150 at the dealer.
This extractor will pay for itself and more at two oil changes. The filters on these cars are not just screw on. You must change several O rings and make sure the filter is properly inserted in its housing. It can be tricky and I prefer to do it myself as opposed to leaving it to the lowest skilled employees at the dealer who are often assigned do oil changes. Said By William M.
